When you find yourself seeking to hire a jazz trio or quartet, rest easy knowing you're in the right place. We play jazz that has it's roots in gospel & blues - songs you can actually hum - creating fond memories of your event. Let's just say: making music anyone can enjoy is what we're all about.
Though we can arrange for a variety to suit your tastes, you'll find that quiet and medium volume jazz, is our passion and life's pursuit. Our music is an excellent compliment to any event or occasion; and perfect for listening, dancing, or as an ambient background, masterfully played for your enjoyment. Our goal is simple - to create music that brightens up your day.
Ian's music has been featured at private events performed for: the Mooring's Bistro, the Fashion Show for the Art Deco Society of Greater Washington, the Annapolis Yacht Club, and the World Bank. Note-worthy public performances include venues such as: Twins Jazz, The Takoma Park Jazz Fest, The Black Cat The Blair Mansion Inn and more. Though known for our musicality, our professionalism is something we take great pride in. We're very big on customer service, which for us includes such qualities as punctuality, flexibility, and courtesy.
